Ever wondered what's inside a Church? Maybe you're curious about people's different beliefs and how that links into the local community?
Well, now is your chance to find out!
New for 2010 is the development of a Faith Trail in the Moor Allerton / Roundhay area of Leeds, comprising of a Church of England Church, an Orthodox Synagogue, a Muslim Centre, a Reform Synagogue, and the themed faith garden of a United Reformed Church.
The participating places of worship are:
St Andrew's URC Community Garden - 2.30-3.15pm
Shaftesbury Avenue, Roundhay, Leeds, LS8 1DS
Sinai Synagogue - 3.15-4.00pm
Roman Avenue, Leeds, LS8 2AN
Baab Ul Ilm Muslim Centre and Mosque - 4.00-4.45pm
166 Shadwell Lane, Leeds, LS17 8AD
Etz Chaim Synagogue - 4.45-5.30pm
411 Harrogate Road, Leeds, LS17 7BY
St John the Evangelist Anglican Church - 5.30-6.15pm
Harrogate Road, Moor Allerton, Leeds, LS17 7BZ
The Faith Trail will operate every Sunday afternoon from 2:30pm-6:15pm and has been designed so that you can walk around and see each place of worship in just a single afternoon (although there is no reason why you could not take your time over a period of weeks).
