Victor Street, Bradford, BD9 4RA
Contact: Khadim Hussain 07990 527273
Before being used as a mosque, the building was a church hall, which was rented from the adjacent church in 1985. It was purchased at a later stage, and became a focal mosque in the surrounding Asian Muslim community, and has been extended a number of times to accommodate the growing numbers. Jamiyat Tabligh Ul Islam is part of a group of seventeen mosques in Bradford under the same organisation.
At present there are classes for children, and adults in various fields, and it is used as a supplementary school by up to 250 children. In addition, there is also an elderly day centre, and classes for vocational courses for adults. There are also facilities for women, who organise their own programmes and events.
