This beautiful, five hundred year old church houses part of a Saxon cross; a runic stone, believed by some to be an early font; a fine14th century window; beautiful stained glass windows by Victorian artists including Burne-Jones and William Morris; the 20th century Weatherhead window; impressive memorials, including one to General Twiss of Martello Tower fame; a Latin inscription recording a bequest by Samuel Sunderland of Harden (1600-1676) which is still active; Victorian pews, chancel screen, pulpit, reredos and font; an unusual clock and sundial; the Royal Arms of George III; and many interesting gravestones.
