KEIGHLEY NEW CHURCH

This small Victorian church faces the open countryside; the perfect location at the edge of Braithwaite Village provides gorgeous views across the open valley. The original formal plastered walls have been replaced by exposed stonework and the rigid pews by comfortable chairs. This combination of natural sandstone with the colourful stained glass windows provides a modern relaxing atmosphere for worship.

There has been a New Church in Keighley since 1787; the congregation moved here in 1995 and a stained glass window depicting Noah's Ark commemorates this relocation from Devonshire Street.

Almost all the windows are of much older stained glass; impressive and beautiful memorials to local families, illuminating our church.
