The current building constructed in the 1816, was designed by William Bradley. It is very much in the Free Church style rather than a more typical Anglican building, and has a short chancel and windows of lancet character with intersected tracery.
In recent years the balcony has been brought back into use with a glass screen across the front. The building has remained in constant use and apart from the occasional facelift is in the same condition it was when first built. The stained glass window in memory of Sarah Ann Watkinson was unveiled by her husband in 1914.
Some of the stones in the tower come from the previous buildings and bear inscriptions. There are a lot of memorials in the church to the famous and wealthy of bygone years and a war memorial dedicated to those from Coley and Norwood Green who lost their lives in the Great War.
