The Church of St Philip the Apostle stands on the Halifax Road (A629) just minutes from Junction 24 of the M62. You can park in our Community Centre in Briarlyn Road and then walk down the path to the main road. Once you enter our gates you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of our well cared for churchyard and its lovely views. St Philips, a Church of England church, is a Grade 2 listed building and has beautiful stained glass windows and a Victorian ‘Four Seasons' pulpit (complete with graffiti left by naughty choirboys!) and our Robert Thompson mouse.
