The Guru Nanak Gurdwara was erected in 1975 at a cost of £60,000, and is conveniently located next to the Council's Spring Grove Car Park.
There are three floors in the Gurdwara, including a kitchen and eating hall, and a first and second floor for worship and weddings. The current congregation is around 2,000 worshippers and prayer takes place daily Monday to Friday, (08.15am-10.30am and from 6.30-7.30pm).
Women and men pray together in the Gurdwara and the building is registered for weddings. The Gurdwara also sells some religious artefacts to help members and others become closer to their faith.
