St Thomas' Church is a Grade II listed building designed by the famous architect, Sir George Gilbert Scott.  The Southwest tower has a broach spire with an intriguing outline. The Chancel Chapels open into the Chancel with arches divided into two sub-arches, and the Northern Aisle has a window by Charles Eamer Kempe (1884).
