Anne Cryer MP (first right) talks to a visitor
Keighley MP Anne Cryer visited the Markazi Jamia Masjid on Sunday 25 October along with other visitors curious to see the latest developments inside the state-of-the-art Mosque.
The visitors were warmly welcomed by members of the Mosque Committee and worshippers who explained the community activities undertaken by the Masjid, and the latest decoration and improvement works.
A lively question and answer session was also held, and the Mosque Committee members proved happy to field some difficult and probing questions about the Masjid and about the Islamic faith and its cultural traditions.
The Reverend Peter Mott and Anne Cryer MP thanked the Masjid for their generosity and hospitality on behalf of the visitors.
